National Park Veluwezoom consists of more than 5100 hectares of forest, heart, sand drifts and estates and it became the first National Park in the Netherlands in 1930. In the park you have the chance to spot Scottish highlanders, wild boars and red deer.
Coming from Velp/Rozendaal, Buitenplaats Beekhuizen is immediately left after passing the park entrance with cattle grids. Our location is therefore the ideal base for walks or bike rides in and around this beautiful nature reserve.
From the adjacent Landgoed Beekhuizen you can take a beautiful walk to the nearby estate Biljoen. The well-known viewpoint, the Posbank, is worth a visit in all seasons. The Visitor Center of Natuurmonumenten is also worth a visit.
There are endless possibilities that this National Park has to offer in terms of nature, and the nature of the Hoge Veluwe National Park is also nearby. Ask for our tips during your stay!
